Indian Runner ducks make great pets. They feed on duck and goose food and kitchen scraps such as bread, fruit and vegetables. They need water, a pond ideally but just enough to drink and wash themselves. Our ducks have been hand reared at the farm with hens and cockerels. They produce around 200 eggs a year which are rich and delicious.
