Do you have a love for alpacas and want to experience more, or are you a young farmer needing experience, maybe you have been to our other interesting experiences and workshops and want to lean more? Then come along to our shearing day in May 2019. During the day we will discuss alpacas and their origin, touch and feel their fleece and finished yarn. Have hands on experience and develop a greater understanding. Help Lisa herd up the animals for shearing, sort and prepare fleeces ready for milling. You are welcome to take some special samples to work with at home. Have lunch with us and learn from the shearers. Enjoy a browse around the Paca Shack Boutique before leaving for the day. Suitable for adults, young farmers, Duke of Edinburgh trainees and textile students. 1 - 4 people. 8am - 4pm. Date to be advised.
